Parent Respect (PRW - 101)

Parent Respect covers the many facets of being the parent of a child with special needs - the grief cycle, the challenges that are common among all parents of children with special needs, and the struggles that are unique to rural areas like Montana. Then, we get very personal, helping you link your own experiences to those that our families experience. Because, sometimes, human services workers can actually hamper communications. We cover how to set good boundaries with families. In the last module, we provide resources and tips for you to start your own independent contractor business as a respite provider.
